Study Details

This study will look at the impact that a caring role can have on males providing care to a significant other, such as partner, spouse, child or parent. In addition, it will explore whether men who are carers feel their masculinity and view of 'traditional gender norms' influence their experiences (and if so, how).

The study will use the input of photographs and interview transcripts to aid the researcher in understanding the experiences male carers have, and how they view their role. More information on the methods used in this research can be found on 'The Participants' page.
