Could you take part in this study and contribute your experiences?
The Participants
Participants will be male, aged 35+ and currently or in the past 7 years have provided some care to a significant other. This will include a partner, spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, or another with whom that person has a close relationship to. This may also include a child you care for, or a parent you support. If you have a close relationship with someone that does not fit into one of these categories, please get in touch as you may still be eligible to take part.
They will be asked to take photographs on issues relating to their role as a carer, and their mental well-being regarding this role. They will also be asked to submit any existing photographs they have or find that relate to these topics. These photographs may follow a narrative or timeline, or may help to express emotions and feelings alongside material objects or items. We ask that they do not take photographs of anyone else, and that they only take photographs using the camera.
Please note that during the Covid-19 pandemic, participants will be asked to follow social distancing measures outlined by the government when taking photographs, to ensure the safety of themselves, the person they are caring for and those around them.
